Our approach with grapes

Since 2010, "Alfa-Vita" Patikas A. - Chatsios V. O.E. has incorporated grapes into the export range. As a result, grapes have become a key product for the company and its customers. Till today, more than 2.500 tons are being handled, annually.

The areas where grape cultivations are located, are in northern Greece, in the vicinity of the company's facilities. As a result, the handling of the products, during all stages of production, is performed under the best possible conditions.

Our company contributes in planting and growing new seedless varieties like Arra 15 and Arra 19 from Grapa Varieties Ltd and Sugar Grisp and Sweet Globe from IFG.

All producers are certified in accordance with Global Gap (+GRASP) international standards.

Victoria

Bunch is medium to large in size, cylindrical-conical shape, average weight 600-800 gr.
Grape: Large (6-7gr.), oval or elliptical shape. It has a long durability and its pulp is crisp and juicy.
Neutral taste, 13-15° brix.
Color: green-yellow.
Harvesting: from July until September.

Italia

Bunch is large in size, conical shape, average weight 600-700 gr.
Grape: Large to very large (6-7gr.), round shape. It's a quite durable variety and its pulp is crisp and juicy.
Sweet muscat taste, 15-16° brix.
Color: yellow.
Harvesting: from middle of September until November.

Red Globe

Bunch is large in size, conical shape, average weight 700-800 gr.
Grape: Large to very large (9-10gr.), round shape. It's a quite durable variety and its pulp is crisp and juicy. 14° brix.
Color: red or dark red.
Harvesting: from end of August until November.

Black Magic

Bunch is medium to large in size with average weight 300-500 gr.
Grape: oval shape (5-6gr.). A very flavourful variety. 14° brix.
Color: dark blue, black.
Harvesting: from July until August.

  • Victoria:

Bunch is medium to large in size, cylindrical-conical shape, average weight 600-800 gr.

Thompson

Bunch is medium to large in size, cylindrical-conical shape, average weight 350-500 gr.
Grape: small to medium size (5-6gr.). It has a thin but strong skin. It's particularly known for its exceptional taste.
17° brix.
Color: light green-yellow
Harvesting: from middle until the end of August.

Crimson

Bunch is medium to large in size, conical shape, average weight 550-700gr.
Grape: conical shape (7-8gr.). A very durable variety with late harvesting. Its pulp is crisp and juicy.
Neutral and quite fruity flavor, 16° brix.
Color: light or dark red.
Harvesting: from beginning until the end of November.
